What is temporal enhancement? Loss of volume in your temples, located on either side of your eyes is considered one of the first signs of aging. Temporal enhancement can restore and rejuvenate the lost volume of the temples, providing a refreshed and youthful appearance. How long does the procedure take? The procedure takes around 15 minutes. When can I expect to see the results and how long do they last? You can expect visible results at the time of treatment, which lasts for approximately 6 to 8 months. Are there any postoperative precautions? In the first 24 hours following the procedure, your doctor will recommend to avoid excessive sun or heat exposure, strenuous exercise, and alcohol, smoking and caffeine beverages. Does the procedure have any adverse effects? As with any procedure, temporal enhancement may involve certain risks and complications which can include infection, pain, redness, tenderness, swelling, bruising, itching, lumps and bumps, and discoloration at the injection site. Any adverse effects are usually mild and temporary, lasting less than seven days.
